Last night I went out to Madrone Art Bar for my friend Petra's birthday. It was apparently music video night. Other than the fact that it was way too damn crowded, it's a really fun bar. They have a chalkboard full of fun drinks like "The Ike Turner" which is a shot of Hennessy and a slap on the face for $9. The music videos were playing on a couple of big screens and included everything from old school Michael Jackson to 2Pac to Lady Gaga. Being at "art bar," there were various pieces of art on display and huge block letter writing all over the wall. And in the lobby, there is a photo booth! As soon as I saw it I knew I'd be in it before the night was over.
My friend Carolynn and I did a couple rounds in the booth. The only bummer is they only print you one copy of the photos. That's what scanners are for I guess!
As a side note - I'm in love with the giant felt flower headband I'm wearing in the above photos. It's from Stitches by Krustal and I always get loads of compliments every time I wear it!
